If you are 12 or under please consider some of the other ways we can use volunteers and contributions:

• Make our dogs a chew toy-they'll love you for it! Cut-up an old T-shirt into thin strips about 12 inches long. Using nine strips together, tie a large knot at one end and braid them. Tie a knot on the other end, and you'll have a toy our dogs will love to tug!( Please make sure to check with your parents before tearing up your t-shirts). Here are some more toy instructions.

• Greenhill Humane Society can always use additional funds to pay for medicine and care of our animals. Put on a car wash, a garage sale, have kids donate food and change to Greenhill in honor of your birthday! There are a variety of ways you can help us take care of our animals.

• Learn to crochet or knit and you'll be able to create 12" X 16" rectangles from yarn- a puuurrrfffect cat bed! Make some awesome toys for our cats, too!

• Do you love to cook? Try a dog biscuit recipe and cut into fun shapes. Our dogs will bark for more.

• Sometimes we receive animals that are too young or too sick to be adopted. Your family can foster these animals in your home where they can get well and grow. You return them to the shelter after a specified time of care (depending on the animal's needs) and then we find a loving home for them!
