Animal Care Technician – Greenhill kennel
Summary: Greenhill Humane Society seeks an animal lover with excellent customer service skills to join our team. Under general supervision of the Kennel Manager, Animal Care Technicians perform routine and technical services relating to the health, care and well-being of the animals at the shelter, provide adoption counseling, perform intake evaluations, and maintain the cleanliness of the kennel. Hours: This is a part-time position with a regular schedule of 32 hours/week. Greenhill Humane Society is open to the public Friday through Tuesday. The shelter is staffed seven days a week to provide daily care to the animals. Weekend work is required.
Compensation: This position is compensated on an hourly basis and is eligible for benefits, including health and dental insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, and more, after completion of waiting period. Starting wage is $10.50/hour.

Behavior Program Coordinator
Summary: Greenhill Humane Society and 1st Avenue Shelter seeks an experienced animal behavior professional to join our team. The Behavior Program Coordinator oversees enrichment and behavior modification programs for animals in the shelter and in foster homes; works closely with staff and volunteers to monitor behavior during the animal’s time in the shelter; performs, and trains staff to perform, behavior evaluations; and provides adoption counseling and post-adoption support regarding behavioral issues. Hours: This is a position with a flexible, negotiable schedule. Full- and part-time options will be considered. 1st Avenue Shelter and Greenhill Humane Society are staffed seven days a week to provide daily care to the animals.
