Would you know how to help your pet in an emergency? As guardians of our beloved friends, we can better care for them by learning what to do when they need us most.
Randi Golub, Certified Veterinary Technician and owner of Cat Nurse On Call, will teach us this fun and informative Pet First Aid and CPR Course.
Participants will learn how to:
* Approach an ill or injured animal and make an initial assessment
* Check for breathing and/or pulse
* Perform rescue breathing
* Perform the Heimlich maneuver
* Recognize common pet illnesses
* Make a pet first aid kit
Participants will also get to practice their skills on Casper, a realistic CPR model, and will also take home a pet first aid guide.
Space is limited and preregistration is required.
