Adoption Process

After you have found the perfect companion, fill out an adoption application and ask a staff member to review it with you. The cat questionaire, dog questionaire, and rabbit/small animal questionaire can be filled out and brought to the shelter in order to save you time during the adoption process, or you can complete an application at the shelter. In order to proceed, all family members must come to the shelter to meet the pet and landlord approval is required for anyone who rents. You may put the animal on hold until these requirements have been met.

When adopting a dog we require that your dogs meet the dog you are interested in adopting at the shelter. You can put a hold on the one you are considering and schedule a time for your family and dogs to meet him/her.
