Community Outreach
 

There is always something exciting happening at Greenhill!  Each month we participate in events that enable us to better promote our animals and increase adoptions. We also host events, like Bark in the Park, Pours for Paws wine extravaganza, and Art for Animals Benefit & Silent Auction that bring our supporters together to celebrate our successes and raise needed revenue for the shelter.  Pet owners seeking helpful information regarding animal health and behavior find our education programs and classes to be both informative and entertaining.                                                                                                                  

In addition to all of the many events, fundraisers and programs we facilitate to benefit the public and support our shelter, we also work with the local TV and radio media for weekly Pet of the Week spots to showcase our adoptable animals. Community outreach also entails instruction in humane education to our local youth.  We provide tours and presentations to school groups, youth organizations, and area businesses.
