Surrendering an Animal
Releasing your pet to Greenhill Humane Society can be a difficult decision to make. We understand and appreciate your efforts to place your companion where he or she will be safe and humanely cared for.
While we cannot guarantee that your pet will be adopted, we do make animals available for adoption as long as they are healthy, well adjusted, and not exhibiting significant behavioral or temperament problems. We try our best to place animals in homes where they will be considered a part of the family and a companion for life. We will do what we feel is in the best interest of the animal, using our experience and available resources. Please note that Greenhill accepts ONLY owner surrendered pets and that all animals must be received by APPOINTMENT. Contact Numbers for Scheduling an Appointment
If you are surrendering a small animal, please bring a completed Small Animal Surrender Form to your appointment.
