Greenhill Humane Society Recognized in 100 Best Nonprofits to Work for in Oregon

Organizations ranked based on surveys sent to employees & benefits provided

EUGENE, OREGON – (October 19, 2021) Greenhill Humane Society is honored to announce it recently was recognized in Oregon Business Magazine’s “100 Best Nonprofits to Work for in Oregon – 2021.” Greenhill placed twenty fifth out of thirty-three in the “medium organizations category” (40 to 49 Oregon employees) with a score of 551.96 out of 700.

“We are excited to be included on this list based on anonymous feedback and survey results from our employees! Our team does amazing lifesaving work and we aim to support them with good benefits and a working environment that promotes health and well-being,” said Megan Brezovar, Greenhill’s Engagement & Humane Education Manager. “We are thrilled to be amongst other outstanding nonprofit organizations.”

The list of top nonprofits to work for highlights organizations with best workplace practices based on surveys sent to employees. During the survey, employees rate their satisfaction on five features in the workplace: work environment, management and communications; mission and goals; career development and learning; and benefits and compensation.

Additionally, nonprofits are scored based on employee benefits and how many employees participated in the survey.
