Name Your Adoption Price Promotion Extended to include Dogs

Doggone it, the shelter dogs have plenty of puppy love to give

EUGENE, OREGON – (February 15, 2024) – Due to the success of Greenhill Humane Society’s “Love is Priceless” adoption promotion, the shelter has extended the promotion to include more animals. During the adoption promotion, adopters of senior cats and bonded cat pairs and all dogs over 1-year-old will be able to name their price for their new furry friend.

The “Love is Priceless” adoption promotion will run through the month of February. Greenhill is open every day with adoption meet and greets from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. To see all the animals part of this promotion, visit Greenhill’s website. (https://www.green-hill.org/)

“Just because Valentine’s Day is over doesn’t mean our shelter pets aren’t still looking for love,”

said Sarah Bouzad, Greenhill’s Community Engagement & Events Manager. “During the ‘Love is Priceless’ promotion we saw many wonderful cats find their new homes and we are hoping with this extension, our shelter dogs can find their pawsitively purrfect homes as well.”

The shelter currently has eighteen dogs included in the promotion, ranging in age, size, breed, and personality as well as four cats.

If adoption isn’t an option at this time, Greenhill has a foster and volunteer program. Becoming a foster family or volunteering at the shelter still allows animal-lovers to interact with pets and save animals’ lives. Donations are also helpful. Greenhill Humane Society, has a Wish List here and monetary donations are greatly appreciated as Greenhill is often able to purchase items in bulk and at a discount. Gifts can be made online here.
