Name Your Adoption Price Promotion for Senior & Bonded Cats

Love is Priceless for a new cat companion during adoption promotion

EUGENE, OREGON – (February 7, 2024) – Love is in the air at Greenhill Humane Society and the sweet adult senior cats and bonded paired cats are looking for their furever valentine. There are currently over eight bonded pair cats and senior cats up for adoption with extra love to give. In an effort to help get these cats adopted into their new homes sooner, the shelter is running a “Love is Priceless” adoption promotion.

During the “Love is Priceless” adoption promotion, adopters of senior cats and bonded cat pairs will be able to name their price for the perfect match. Bonded pair cats are best friends and must be adopted together. Greenhill is open every day with adoption meet and greets from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. To see all the cats part of this promotion, visit Greenhill’s cat adoption page (https://www.green-hill.org/adopt_cat).

“Our adoption floor is quite unique right now. We have numerous adult and best friend cats up for adoption all deserving of new homes. You could say these cats have double the love to give,” said Sarah Bouzad, Greenhill’s Community Engagement & Events Manager. “We are hopeful that this promotion will bring special attention to our seniors and bonded pairs.”

There are many benefits to adopting older cats. Most adult cats are lower maintenance, well mannered, already litter box trained and have an established personality. Adopters help a harder-to-adopt cat find comfort, creating more space for other cats needing safe shelter and care with Greenhill, and take home a loving companion.

If adoption isn’t an option at this time, Greenhill has a foster and volunteer program. Becoming a foster family or volunteering at the shelter still allows animal-lovers to interact with pets and save animals’ lives. Donations are also helpful. Greenhill Humane Society, has a Wish List here and monetary donations are greatly appreciated as Greenhill is often able to purchase items in bulk and at a discount. Gifts can be made online here.
